OK, this post has nothing to do with footwear or fitness, nor does it deal with improving your health. However I felt that I had to comment on SOPA and PIPA to help to explain why this new legislation is so bad.

PROTESTS ABOUT SOPA AND PIPA ARE NOT ABOUT ALLOWING INTERNET PIRACY

To the casual observer it would appear that the opposition to these bills is coming from software pirates and illegal downloaders, who are objecting to their illegal file sharing being made more difficult. However this is not the case. Besides,SOPA and PIPA will not stop people from illegally downloading, and it will be just as easy to do so if this legislation is passed (more about that later)

The problem with SOPA and PIPA is how it will change the internet, and what powers will be given to control how the internet operates. You see it is not what this legislation sets out to stop, but the phraseology of the legislation that is the problem. The legislation is very loose about the steps which will be possible if this legislation comes into effect. Politicians may well claim that they would not introduce legislation that prevents freedom of expression on the internet, but that is exactly what this bill will make perfectly legal. If these bills are passed in their current forms, we will all have to rely on politicians to stick to their words, when the law will be quite clear that they do not need to.

But we all know that politicians are honest and have integrity right? I mean Barack Obama has done everything that he claimed that he would do right? Guantanamo Bay after all is now closed, there is a healthcare system in the USA that all Americans can be proud of, military action was authorized in Libya after congressional approval, Sudan was brought to justice for genocide in Darfur, and NASA’s manned space missions are still alive and kicking right? Exactly.

Now with a law in place that makes u-turns perfectly legal, you can see why there is such concern is about this new legislation.

Similarities With The Criminal Justice Bill (1994) in the UK

Cast your minds back a few years to when John Major was in power in the UK. Youngsters up and down the country were reveling at outdoor parties and raves (how terrible!). This freedom needed to be curbed according to the government, and new laws were required to curb trespassing an illegal partying. The police needed more power. Enter The Criminal Justice Bill. The Criminal Justice Bill (1994) was ‘conceived to stop illegal raves and parties’, and the bill gave the police new powers to stop potential revelers and prevent them from organizing raves and outdoor parties. The youth were up in arms about the invasion of civil liberties; however it was the extent of this bill that was the real problem, and not what appeared at face value to be a legitimate addition into UK law (apparently).

The phraseology of this bill was of course the problem, as it gave the police the power to stop (and search) and disband anyone who they believed was going to hold an outdoor party. This meant that more than two people (I.E 3 people) together with a music system, could be potential ravers who could be stopped. The bill made it illegal for three people to meet in a park with a music system, and that the police were given powers to disband them or even arrest them, for that became illegal. Of course we can all rely on the discretion of the police not to abuse any powers that they are given.

The law meant that a birthday party could be disbanded, and was illegal under the new legislation. According to a very good article in The Guardian….

The legislation “can now be used to foreclose a birthday party” and this “should serve as a stark warning to those currently considering a raft of other illiberal legislation”.

When legislation gives excessive powers to the state, those powers will eventually be used. When hard-won liberties are stripped away with a stroke of the monarch’s pen, they may never return.

Those of us who organized against the criminal justice bill back in 1994 may have been disorganized and disheveled. We may have been idealistic, and we may have been naive. But for all that, we were right

So What Does This New SOPA and PIPA Legislation Actually Mean?

I think you have already got my point, so I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a video. It explains the problems with SOPA and PIPA far more eloquently that I can put it, besides it uses video and that is better than text on this occasion.

PROTECT IP / SOPA Breaks The Internet from Fight for the Future on Vimeo.

You should be opposed to this bill if you like your freedom, and even if you think that illegal downloaders should be brought to justice. Us protesters do not want to allow people to break the law, nor to be able to steal web content, movies, files and music without consequences. We want the legislation to be changed and/or the vocabulary to be tightened up. None of us trust politicians to stick to their word, and to quote the Guardian again…

“When legislation gives excessive powers to the state, those powers will eventually be used”

And finally, will this legislation actually stop illegal downloaders? Of course it wont!

Why will it not work?

Because you will still be able to access the sites which will be banned or shut down, by typing in the IP address of the site rather than the domain name. As such this bill will do nothing to stop what it actually sets out to do.

So what is left?

A whole host of new laws to allow governments (not just the USA) to have some worrying powers when it comes to the internet.

Now, tell me that the loose wording of the legislation is not deliberate.

Skechers and its Shape Ups brand has dropped the super toned body of Kim Kardashian for this year’s Superbowl advertising campaign. Last year’s Superbowl advertisements featured the lithe, perspiring, sexy bodied starlet Kim Kardashian who was clearly hot stuff in 2011. However Skechers have decided that her talents are superfluous to their requirements, and have chosen to replace her with a dog for this years campaign. Ill avoid the obvious gag.

According to Skechers, Kim’s talents are still of interest, and the suggestion that she has been dropped has been denied by Skechers. “To say that she was ‘dropped’ or “replaced’ is misleading and untrue … in fact we continue to discuss ways that we may work together in the future.” Say Skechers in a company statement. Regardless of how it is phrased, Kim Kardashian is not in this year’s Superbowl campaign and appears to have been ‘replaced’ by a French Bulldog.

The Superbowl may be a little way off, but the latest advert has already been causing controversy. This time it is not for sexiness, objectifying women or for pushing sneakers on young girls, but the fact that the latest Skechers advert features greyhound racing.

Skechers are not adverse to whipping up a frenzy of criticism. The Skechers Kim Kardashian Ad last year certainly got pulses racing for the men, but the adverts were not so well received by everyone. Her body beautiful was criticized for being a little bit too sexy for some tastes.

Not satisfied with the small uproar that surrounded the Kim Kardashian advert, Skechers then launched their Shapeups for Girls range. This was much more controversial, with websites and mums groups all across the States up in arms about sexualizing young girls and instilling low self esteem and body image issues in girls as young as 7. The criticism was somewhat unfounded it has to be said, but the launch certainly made Skechers hit the headlines again.

Now that the country has calmed down somewhat over the bouncy Skechers Shape ups for pre-teens, Skechers has now really gone to the dogs with this year’s Superbowl advert. Greyhound racing features in the latest Skechers GoRun campaign, and while the association is sound, the protests have already started. Greyhound racing is regarded as being cruel to animals, so much so, that it is banned in 38 States. Associating with a banned sport is a definite ‘no go area’ according to many people in the USA. The advert features a French Bulldog in Skechers Go Run shoes competing with the big dogs, and holding its own in a greyhound race. The advert was shot at Tucson Greyhound Park.

Skechers GoRun Shoes without the Dogs

With the latest advert, Skechers have once again made it onto Change.org due to their advertising campaign, with yet another petition underway to get Skechers to pull the Ad (The Skechers for Girls also attracted a petition on the site). So far, the greyhound protection group GREY2K USA has amassed 105,000 signatures in favor of pulling the advert.

According to GREY2K USA President Christine Dorchak, “Skechers should not be partnering with Tucson Greyhound Park, which has an extensive record of cruelty.” However Skechers explains the thinking behind the advert in USA Today as it being “simply a metaphor for a remarkable, underdog achievement.” According to Leonard Armato, President of Skechers Fitness.

If you want the advert pulled, you know where to put your name. If you just think it’s a bit of harmless advertising, you’ll probably get to see it if you tune in to this year’s Superbowl. Interestingly, making a French Bulldog run in GoRun shoes does not amount to animal cruelty. Provided that, unlike the greyhounds, the cage in which it is kept is large.

The latest Trimsole trainers have the same benefits as the sandals which launched the range, but have a design which is much better suited for year round use.

Trimsole Bumpers are the first trainers released by the toning shoe company, and the latest release offers a smart casual style for maximum wear-ability, for both casual wear and the office. Trimsole Bumpers have been released in four colours in the UK, with black, brown and grey models to suit most work outfits, and funky red for the evenings and weekends.

As with all shoes in the UK Trimsole range, the latest Trimsole Bumpers feature a Trim-Tech midsole which helps to get the lower body into better shape, by increasing muscle activation. The triple density midsole helps to cushion the heel properly, it eases the strain on the bones in the feet, and generates muscle activating instabilities throughout the stride to improve toning. The bum and legs get more of a workout when walking, the blood circulation gets a boost, and the feet are allowed to move in a much more natural manner, with foot muscle activation augmented to improve conditioning and help stave off foot problems. The latest Trimsole trainers also encourage better posture helping to ease the strain on the joints.

Trimsole Bumpers are smart enough to match up with a pair of trousers, but casual enough to pair up with a pair of jeans. They are lightweight and breathable and have a microfiber lining so are great for warmer weather, yet the faux leather uppers are robust and hard wearing for autumn and winter wear. For grip you can count on a thermoplastic rubber outsole ,which is robust enough to cope with the winter weather, yet flexible enough to allow your feet to move naturally.

If you want the full benefits of a pair of smart toning shoes, yet don’t want to have to break the bank, Trimsole Bumpers are a great choice. You get a high quality construction, great comfort, and the natural microfiber lining keeps the feet breathing to stay cool and comfortable when the temperature picks up.

Trimsole Bumpers are a great new addition to the Trimsole range, and at £49.99 they are an absolute steal.

Pick up your own pair while stocks last on the link below:

Reebok were asked to back up their claims that Reebok Easytone shoes reach the parts other shoes don’t reach, and they were not able to provide sufficient evidence to back up their claims of 28% more muscle activation in the buttocks, 11% in the thighs and 11% in the calves is possible in the shoes.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) decision led to Reebok agreeing to a $25 million dollars settlement, with the funds available for refunds to customers who feel that they have been misled by the Reebok Easytone adverts. Reebok Easytone claims are possible through the FTC directly or through a court-approved class action lawsuit.

The adverts became an instant hit for their risqué style, flaunting copious amounts of finely-toned flesh, with camera angles focusing on bottoms and thighs, with the primetime campaign certainly having a big impact on viewers. Whilst the adverts were visually stunning and a big hit, the FTC ruled that without concrete evidence to back up the claims, they were in breach of advertising regulations. Reebok has since withdrawn the adverts.

The FTC wants national advertisers to understand that they must exercise some responsibility and ensure that their claims for fitness gear are supported by sound science,” said David Vladeck, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.

according to the FTC website. The FTC also announce that …

The FTC’s complaint also alleges that Reebok falsely claimed that walking in EasyTone footwear had been proven to lead to 28 percent more strength and tone in the buttock muscles, 11 percent more strength and tone in the hamstring muscles, and 11 percent more strength and tone in the calf muscles than regular walking shoes

Whilst Reebok may have been a little over the top with its claims, the company message apparently has not changed. According to Reebok’s Daniel Sarro “Settling does not mean we agree with the FTC’s allegations; we do not. We have received overwhelmingly enthusiastic feedback from thousands of EasyTone customers, and we remain committed to the further development of our EasyTone line of products”

Unfortunately, whilst that may well be the case it looks unlikely that without solid evidence that their toning shoes work, that they will top the sales lists again, certainly not without some serious hard science to back up their shoes.

If you feel cheated by Reebok and want a refund, Reebok Easytone claims can be made by filling out an application form on the following link: https://cert.gardencitygroup.com/rbk/fs/ftc-1

Every now and again a great product gets advertised on late night TV and the shopping channels which is actually rather good, and is worth making a bit of a song and dance about, or in my case, a poem

Its shaped like an egg
Its good for your feet
It fits into your hand a treat

It will banish hard skin
Wear corns and calluses thin
and will make your toes and feet look real neat

Yes, the Ped Egg is here, or more accurately, my blog post is here, as the Ped Egg has been on the market for a little while now.

However since this gadget is new to me I thought I would write a few words about it because it really is quite a useful bit of kit, certainly if foot corns and calluses are the bane of your life.

What’s All The Fuss About?

Read all the marketing hype and you’ll discover that this home pedicure gadget is revolutionary.

It’s not.

It’s a foot file in the shape of an egg. That is certainly not enough to start a pedicure revolution in my book. However, the design is pretty cool, and since no one else has made a foot file in the shape of an egg before, I guess it is actually radically different. Maybe I’ll take that back. It is small revolution in foot care.

What Does the Ped Egg Do?

Well it doesn’t actually do very much really, but what it does do, it does exceptionally well. That is, it grates the hard skin off your feet as easily as if it were made of cheese.

What makes the Ped Egg worthy of the poem and the write up is that it is incredibly easy to use, it fits into the palm of your hand really easily and comfortably, and it makes the laborious task of filing down hard skin from your feet much more pleasurable. Its ergonomic shape is great, but that egg shape also has another function, as it houses a secret compartment. You may fiddle a bit to get this Pandora ’s Box open, and when you do you will be rewarded with something quite horrible; all the shavings from your corns and callused skin.

This is the second great thing about the Ped Egg, as whilst it may not be pleasant to see your ex-corns and calluses in powdered form, it does mean that they don’t go all over the bathroom floor or down the back of the sofa – depending on where you chose to file your feet. Perhaps this is the revolution. You can file down your feet anywhere in the house, much to the joy of your flatmates. When you are done, you can simply open it up and empty it into the bin.

Does it do it well?

I think you can guess the answer to this question, based on the fact I have written a poem about it. The answer is yes. It files down corns and calluses a treat, and when you get close to the live and healthy skin, you can then use the emery board part to finely get rid of the last little bits without having to risk grating off half of your foot.

What’s more, you don’t actually have to soak your feet beforehand. This makes it rather convenient, as you can just have a quick file whenever you have a couple of minutes spare, and don’t need to commit to a half hour of soaking first. And besides, who wants to ruin the relaxing effect of a long bath by having to follow it up with half an hour of intense manual labor afterwards, as you would have to do with a standard foot file. Whenever you have a few minutes spare, just start to rub away and you will be rewarded with beautifully soft and sensitive feet again, certainly if you use the accompanying foot cream that come with the Ped Egg pack.

So it’s all great then?

Well, it’s nearly all great. According to Amazon.com over 460 people have felt the need to write comments on the Ped Egg, which is a considerable amount of feedback it has to be said, especially when this gadget only costs $7 for the standard version. When was the last time $7 inspired you to write anything online? What’s more it’s virtually all positive, with an average rating of over 4 stars.

However, whilst it’s ergonomic shape, shaving catcher and low price make this a brilliant buy, I still intend to pull it apart a little bit – although not enough to empty the shavings on the floor, mind you.

The ONLY down point is that whilst its one blade will cut away corns and calluses really well, it doesn’t stay sharp for that long. If your corns, calluses and hard skin return a few days after even a podiatrist’s visit (as most people’s do) you will need to replace the blades from time to time as they wear down.

The standard Ped Egg costs just $7 at the moment, but you really should spend $20 on the model that comes with 3 extra blades, as this will save you some money in the long run. This does not make it quite such a bargain, as you can pick up the Denco Professional Foot Smoother is just for just $18, and that should last a lifetime.

But…….the Ped Egg is more comfortable to use than the Denco file, and for all its hardiness, the Denco Professional Foot Smoother will leave your floor looking like an overenthusiastic Italian waiter has grated his Parmesan cheese all over the place.

Should you buy the Ped Egg?

Well, you should get to a podiatrist and find out why you have corns on your feet and rock hard calluses, but assuming that you can’t afford foot surgery or custom orthotic insoles, yes, it’s a great buy. Dare I say, an even better buy if you get it through this site!

Best Place to buy the Ped Egg? Try the picture link to the left for a great deal on Amazon but hurry, there were only 6 left in stock when I wrote this.

If you are too late, you can always buy the $7 one and get a pack of replacement blades to go with it.

Trimsole was the footwear sensation of the summer with the stylish sandals working the parts of the body other sandals couldn’t reach, but now the nights are drawing in and the great British summer is long gone, the sandals are being put back into wardrobes until the spring. Does this spell the end of toning whilst walking for yet another year? Far from it, as the Trimsole Autumn/Winter 2011 collection has now been launched, bringing a plethora of new styles much better suited for dealing with autumn leaves and the coming bitter cold of midwinter.

Trimsole Boots | Brand New Styles for 2011

If you loved Trimsole sandals, you are sure to love Trimsole boots just as much. Trimsole boots offer the same great leg enhancing and muscle stimulating benefits of the sandals, but have a design much better suited to the weather in Britain for 90% of the year.

This year sees the launch of a brand new boot for dealing with anything the British weather can throw at you. Whilst the ankle boots are sexy and cute, the latest Trimsole Mia is certainly no slouch in the style stakes. These brand new calf boots have the look of leather although the PU upper is far more resilient when the heavens open. When the ground underfoot turns to mud and slush, the thermoplastic rubber outsole can still hold its own and is sure to keep you on your feet. As for dealing with the bitter cold, you have a sherling lining which is thick and warm and sure to keep the toes all toasty and warm.

Lookswise, these Trimsole boots are sure to win many fans with a style which looks great with jeans or jodhpurs, and not half bad with a pair of tights and a short skirt. The Mia has a stylish ankle buckle detail, and sold in both black and brown there is no winter outfit that couldn’t benefit with a pair of Trimsole boots like these.

It may be in with the new, but it’s certainly not out with the old, with the brown, tan and black Trimsole ankle boots just as stylish and snug and are perfect for keeping the legs trim throughout the colder months.

Trimsole Ankle Boots

Trimsole Ankle Boots Better than Ever

If the look of leather is not your thing and you prefer sumptuous suede on your feet, these Trimsole boots will be right up your street. Whilst suede can be a nightmare to maintain and keep clean during winter, these synthetic suede boots still give that suede look, but with a little more resilience.

Ugg boots may be a good choice for winter but as comfortable as they are, they will do nothing for your bum and legs. Trimsole boots however will not let all the good work that you have put in over the summer go to waste, and will keep those thighs trim, the calves crunched and the bottom nice and pert, all with Trimsole’s great sense of style.

As with the Trimsole Mia, you have a plush trim for style, but these Trimsole boots have a super soft Teddy lining which is sure to keep your extremities nice and warm on a cold winter’s day. The trim runs down the side of the boots which adds to their great looks, and the ankle creases are a great touch. As with the latest Mia boots, these babies look fantastic with any outfit, and are a dream with jeans and a nice sexy touch when paired with a short skirt and tights. Get these cool Trimsole boots on your feet, and it’s likely that you’ll want to wear nothing else. Although for modesty sake, we wouldn’t recommend that.

Underfoot Comfort

It’s not all about looks and muscle toning, as Trimsole boots are also incredibly comfortable to wear thanks to a squishy EVA foam rubber midsole. This lightweight material is responsible for taking the sting out of walking on frozen winter ground, and makes every step super comfortable as well as helping you to get a much better looking lower half.

With great style and looks, a high quality construction, and impressive wellness benefits, you may think that Trimsole boots will cost a small fortune, but you might be surprised at the great prices of these winter warmers. The chic ankle boots will set you back a mere £49.95 a pair and the latest Trimsole Mia are even better value at just £44.95.

Pick up a pair of your own Trimsole boots and snug toasty toes and a firmer lower half can be yours for less than a night out on the town and a taxi home, and will last a hell of a lot longer that your hangover!

A Closer Look at Ryn Shoes

Many footwear brands have entered into the toning shoe market in the past couple of years, each with their own angle to get customers toning with them rather than the competition. Brands such as the FitFlop have the style, Skechers have the bounce, and Reebok have running shoes pretty much to themselves. Each get their fair share of the sales, but there is one brand which is right at the top when it comes to performance, stability and quality of construction. What’s more, it offers the full complement of fringe benefits including posture correction, improvements to blood circulation, easing of the strain on the joints, and has the ability to take you wherever you want to go, including if you like to get your kicks from off road walking.

The brand is Ryn, and Ryn shoes are the crème de la crème of toning shoes. Of course, it’s not really fair to lump Ryn toning shoes with all the other toning shoe brands, as they offer a range of benefits and a design which is far superior to what is currently on the market, with the possible exception of MBT.

Ryn shoes for the trail

Ryn shoes are of the same ilk as MBT shoes, and offer greater physiological benefits than the lower priced, and lower quality shoes. Where Ryn shoes really come into their own is with the highly stable design. Some toning shoe brands have been coming under increasing criticism for the unstable base, which can cause problems for anyone with weak ankles or balance problems. With Ryn shoes it’s not an issue, as the novel design helps to correct foot function rather efficiently it has to be said. The shoes have first rate lateral stability, can be a godsend to overpronators, and still get the muscles working harder with each step.

A smarter style of toning shoe

Ryn shoes guide the foot through a natural heel to toe roll, and can help to correct excessive pronation of the feet, which eases the strain on the muscles and bones in the feet and ankles. In contrast to the brands which pile in the EVA foam rubber for an extraordinary bounce, the construction of Ryn shoes uses harder materials to give a more rigid sole. The foot is them made to role with the curved outsole, rather than be absorbed into the midsole of the shoes. Whilst the brand is new to many people, it is actually one of the oldest of all the toning shoe brands, being first formulated in the early 1990’s, around the same time as MBT Anti Shoes.

Ryn Shoes vs MBT Anti Shoes

Despite the idea for each brand of shoes coming around the same time, MBT shoes were the first on the market by some measure. The MBT Anti Shoe was released in the mid 1990’s and has had a decent head start. Ryn shoes didn’t actually get launched until 2002, some 10 years or so after the initial idea. The delay was the result of extensive testing and perfecting of the design, and rather than release a substandard product onto the market, the makers decided to wait. Even then, the shoes only got released in their homeland of South Korea, and the good old US of A had to wait until 2008 to get their hands on a pair. Purchasers of the shoes however will agree that the wait was worth it, with the quality of construction and the benefits of Ryn shoes second to none.

Whilst the technology used in Ryn shoes and MBT shoes are similar, and the range of benefits virtually identical, Ryn shoes win better marks for style, with the shoes having been likened to a “cooler version of MBT’s”. Both brands perform well across the board, as you would expect for footwear which can cost upwards of $200 a pair. Both will reward you with a far longer lifespan than the cheaper $50 toning shoes, and really are in a totally different class.

Ryn has a more robust design than MBT shoes, and score yet more marks for wet weather walking. They have excellent grip, and will even cope well with off road walking. The design of Ryn shoes is highly stable, offering superior lateral stability, and the harder compounds used for the construction of the shoes is preferred by many customers who have tried out both brands.

Anyone who considers the weight of the shoes as part of the purchase process, is more likely to lean towards Ryn shoes. The brand is lighter than MBT Anti Shoes by some degree. Whilst you want toning shoes to work your muscles harder, you want the work to be done by the right muscles, and lighter shoes will certainly help and should keep you walking for longer before the muscles get fatigued.

However, Ryn are not for everyone and for those who like to have a “spongier” sole will almost certainly do better with MBT’s. On balance, I think that for the whole package, Ryn shoes have the edge, but it really is a matter of personal preference.

Ryn Shoes Design

Ryn shoes use a 7-part sole unit to give greater control of stability, and as such have a much harder wearing design than many toning shoes on the market. Most toning shoes use a super soft spongy EVA foam rubber midsole to add some bounce, cushioning and support, whereas Ryn shoes only use the bare minimum, yet still offer excellent cushioning and shock absorption.

The benefit of combining EVA rubber sparingly with polyurethane (PU) is the increased robustness which is offered, and as such the shoes have a much more rigid sole unit which allows the rocker bottom to have maximum effect.

What’s more, EVA foam rubber breaks down relatively quickly, so whilst many toning shoes will have uppers that will last for years, with regular use the EVA breaks down over approximately 6-9 months, leaving their stability rather unpredictable, reducing the effectiveness for toning and potentially leaving the body with a greater chance of injury. With Ryn shoes, the lifespan is long, stability remains excellent, and the feet are properly protected.

Ryn Shoes Styles

Ryn Sandals

Fitting toning technology into footwear whilst still producing an attractive shoe is a challenge which few manufacturers have managed to get right; however with Ryn shoes the style is actually first rate. The brand produces an attractive selection of shoes, arguably better than that of MBT. Ryn shoes include the only toning dress shoes, as well as smart and sporty styles, with a good choice of sandals for the summer.

All told, there is a lot going for Ryn shoes, and if you want improved wellness, great style, and a design which is both safe and long lasting then you won’t find a better toning shoe to put on your feet.

The downside? Well, the only potential down point is the price. Ryn shoes are not cheap, but when you consider the benefits and the lifespan of the shoes, they really are a bargain in the long run.

Where to Buy Ryn Shoes

The designers of Trimsole sandals have been hard at work of late. The sandals were launched with a handful of great styles, but it seems that to the powers that be, it just wasn’t enough. The design team appears to have been given a brief to have some fun with all that EVA foam rubber, and have now come up with even more sexy new Trimsole sandal styles. It seems that they have really gone to town, with not just a few more styles hitting the market, but quite literally a shed full of them.

Sophia so Good! (sorry)

. The style explosion has been contained within the UK, with the small and predominantly grey and cloudy island now brightened up considerably with models such as the Marilyn.

As a commentator on toning shoes, its only fair that I should issue a warning, that being that prolonged exposure to Trimsole sandals can have serious consequences for the health. Women exposed to Trimsole sandals need to take particular care, and to keep an eye out for some of the common symptoms of which can result from wearing this fashionable fitness footwear. Symptoms of excessive Trimsole wearing include firmer buttocks, tighter thighs and increased calf definition. The current Trimsole epidemic which is spreading through the UK like wildfire. The sandals have also been reported to be particularly damaging for plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, with the conditions unable to inflict the pain that they once did.

One plantar fasciitis sufferer has apparently been heard to lament, “I have had my first pain free walk in years”. Of course while some may see this as a blessing, she points out. “I only wanted to improve strength and stamina in my legs and lower back, and maybe get better definition in my lower body. But with my plantar fasciitis eased I now have to come off long term sick leave and go back to work. I’m gutted”

It is a similar story across much of the UK, as the Trimsole epidemic radiates out from the Leamington Spa HQ. Being based in the midlands has meant that the shoes have been able to spread across the whole of the UK before anything could be done about it. If it continues like this, Trimsole sandals are likely to become endemic, and with Trimsole boots also available, even the end of the rather brief great British summer is unlikely to make a dent in sales.

The advice to the general public is clear. The new styles are highly contagious. Figures from Beauty Products Direct indicate that of those who have tried on the shoes, 70% end up buying another style within 3 months. “They are highly addictive and extreme caution is advised”, said A. Non from the Institute of Style at Some University. “Get one pair, and you are likely to be hooked, and will need to get another quick fix, to match your other outfits.

Trimsole Rated Dangerously Addictive

Sadly, Mrs. R. Ripple, a baker from Turnham Green, received the advice too late. “Before I knew what had happened, my buns had turned rock hard”, such was the distraction of the Royal Mail delivery of her Trimsole Marilyn’s.

Mrs. V. Stooped has also been affected. “My husband is furious. Since wearing the sandals my posture has improved, and I look more confident and attractive, and I’ve even caught the eye of that fit young lad from number 42 that I’ve been fantasizing about for the past few years”.

Since news that Amanda Holden’s buttocks became more pert after just a day in the shoes, A. Teenager from Dorset saved up his pocket money to buy her another couple of pairs. “At £10 a pair, it seemed like a cracking investment. My mum insists I watch Britain’s Got Talent with her, and this is certainly going to make it more exciting”.

So the advice appears to be that you need to take care with these sandals. Prolonged contact with Trimsole is likely to seriously change the look of your entire lower body. It is unlikely that your thighs and buttocks will ever be the same again.

If you want to keep your lower body looking exactly as it does today, keep your credit card under lock and key, and do not under any circumstances click on the following link and take advantage of the current great special offers on Trimsole sandals. You have been warned!

If you are in the UK, and you have not yet tried out FitFlop this is your chance, and if you already have, you are bound to want some more!

The FitFlop features the Microwobbleboard midsole which tones the lower body up to 30% more than standard shoes when walking, and will absorb 22% more shocks than standard summer footwear, making it one of the most comfortable things to have on your feet in the summer.

The toning sandals have recently been voted “Drapers Shoe of the Year”, and Cloggs too have picked up an award as the best online retailer in the same year.

If you want to pick up a pair of FitFlop sandals at great prices, and get the latest and most fashionable styles, Cloggs is undoubtedly your best bet.

However don’t take my word for it, have a look for yourself. The FitFlop Pietra is one of the hottest styles for 2011, but for something totally different from anything else on the market take a look at the FitFlop Lolla, the world’s first toning Espadrille sandal. Whatever next?
